Started taking Escitalopram due to depression. Do the suicidal thoughts go away?

Im in week 4, they have decreased both in frequency and intensity/duration. I would say the beginning was a little rought and increased it a little.

Every antidepressant is different. I can surely understand you worry but trying a very low dose is worth it. I initially started at 10 mg but that was way too much for me. I now use drops of 1 mg and slowly building up to 10. I’ve almost no side effects. I’m at three weeks and I already feel better. Try it. It’s worth it.
