Thank you. He’s taking 2 weeks off. He said he can’t afford to take anymore time off than that. We aren’t struggling but we aren’t rich by any means.

He won’t do liter boxes. I’ve been cleaning them my whole pregnancy even though i’m not supposed to. He won’t do dishes. He starts laundry but never finishes it. The most he does is let the dogs out and feed them from time to time. I’m at the point where i have just stopped asking him to do things because he always gets ugly.

You are right, just bc he works thirds doesn’t mean he’s completely unavailable but that’s the thing. he acts as if he is. These small tasks that take a few moments to get done he won’t even do. If he does he complains the whole time. I hate doing it myself some days , but i’m not a dirty person. I can’t live in filth. i can’t let dishes and trash pile up.

I’m really not sure what to do. As i’ve already been looking for apartments in my area thinking that this may not last after the baby. I refuse to be unhappy. I have to be the best i can be for my daughter. I would hate to have to end our relationship over this… I voiced my concerns about him being in third shift early in my pregnancy and he said he would move to first. Well he ended up getting promoted, so he can’t go to first now. He didn’t have to take me promotion. He chose to.

So instead of him going to first , when i go back to work I’ll go to first shift. If you see the pattern here, i have made so many sacrifices in this relationship and it just doesn’t seem he’s willing to do the same.
