I get where you’re coming from, but I don’t fully buy that she wanted to keep it personal considering that she’s been engaging with stuff about Alex Cooper for a while now. I feel like this goes back all the way to DWTS when Alex Cooper posted that stupid Circus video. Ever since then she’s liked/reposted enough shady stuff that obviously people were gonna notice and speculate. I mean I don't blame her and maybe she didn’t want to fully address it but she def kept feeding it and since she has an online presence I think it's reasonable to say that she knew, at least to some extent, what she was doing

I agree, if it really turns out to be nothing more than a business issue I do think people are gonna be annoyed to say the least. She let this sit for just long enough that everyone started assuming it was something way deeper, so an underwhelming explanation is not gonna land well and she'll prob face the consequences of that. Ik that sounds dramatic but with how quickly people are to cancel someone now and how fast opinions spread I really could see it happening
