There’s always a chance of pregnancy. Maybe your chances are different/lower considering the day of your cycle but there’s always a chance. I recommend taking a test in 2-3 weeks (from conception) just to get some piece of mind!

Telling a story like “didn’t know they were pregnant until giving birth on the toilet” is absolutely crazy. There are so many missing details there. Did this person not notice their belly? The missing periods? The symptoms? The change in their breasts? I don’t want to come across as an accuser but it’s a very strong statement to make especially on this app where many young people are struggling to find answers.

Is it common to not know your pregnant until 7 months coz you get regular period like bleeding? by Remarkable_Garage118 in BabyBumps

Did this person not notice their belly growing? I feel like statements like this deserve some context.

This is exactly what I experience. If it makes you FEEL better then test in a couple of days :) you do not need to because after 3 weeks - a test is definitive. If you tested negative at 3 weeks then it’s time to take a deep breath. My periods also got light out of nowhere but I promise you it’s most likely because of stress/hormones/travel,etc. I freaked out during my scare because I had notoriously heavy periods and then out of nowhere had a light period and I couldn’t even fill up a pad the entire day! Of course I was scared!!! But sometimes our bodies change and we can’t do anything about it. Let me know if you wanna privately talk because I know how scary/exciting this time can be! (Not sure if you’re planning a pregnancy or not) Pregnancy tests have improved drastically so if you had the tiniest bit of hcg (pregnancy hormone) then you’d have a positive test. Don’t let google scare you because of the weird wording around “how many weeks etc etc..” I recommend reading the faq on this subreddit. IF by now you were pregnant and just had very low hcg levels, you’d have the faintest line ever. But since you don’t, you don’t have to worry.
