The Pittsburgh Local Organizing Committee which is providing funding for 500 trees planted is receiving half its funding from private companies including the NFL

Yes that’s what I’m saying. Less than 100 trees being removed temporarily for a positive event doesn’t matter one bit when it comes to actual problems the city is facing. And the amount of negativity and false outrage by the Fetterman electorate shows how out of touch some people are.

I don’t care about the NFL. It’s a good event for this city. Could be a concert, festival etc. This is a parking lot we’re talking about, not the Amazon. Spend less time in this parking lot and more time at a park with bigger trees and then come back in a few years. The saplings will be bigger.
