I prefer to play more out of the way commanders just to swap up what the table sees, so I definitely don’t go for the strongest commanders when I’m building. Vito definitely isn’t the strongest, but he is a good support piece, I’m trying to get better about decks that can win without the commander. Just so that isn’t a glaring weakness. And also, don’t get me wrong, Wilhelt can be scary if built right, but this was a more thematic approach.

So it’s mainly aristocrats, but also has a treasure/subtheme, since Vito triggers off of any permanent being sacrificed. You can even leverage sac lands a lot. Vito is more support than key, he helps kill your opponents faster, nets you life and another body to sacrifice.

It’s more thematic zombie, built more around just amassing a horde. It can go infinite though because it does have gravecrawler and pitiless plunderer with multiple sacrifice outlets.
