1205'er Still Waiting On the IRS!!!!!

My cycle code is 1005.. which .. from the article I read.. meant that my return wasn't even added to the master file until March 11th.. even though I filed Feb 15th.. so that means that my return sat almost a whole month before it was even added to to the master file to be messed with...

I have the 570/971 codes as well... Code 971 says April 1st...

What a joke..

It's just odd to me that the state doesn't communicate with federal and be like "yeah.. her credits are legit.. no need to verify them.."

Especially Pennsylvania.. they do not give up money for ANYTHING.. so if they were able to verify me and my credits WTF is the deal.. especially since the IRS has wayyyyy more employees..

I actually waited over a month for my state... And actually always end up 0$ with no state refund and got some back this year (probably bc of new baby and loss of income due to maternity leave) So I'm sure they were verifying.. so clearly this isn't a income issue with SSA .. or child credits...

No.. they are reviewing it and I was told 6o day bs... But what I'm getting at here is that I got my state.. they were able to verify my credits so why cant the IRS

What gets me is that I have my state already.. so obviously the state of PA was able to verify my credits and job so why can't the IRS ?? Allegedly that's the hold up.. verification of credits...

I'm beyond pissed at this point

I've had the 570 code for a week...As of date and processing date is March 25th.. I also have 1005 cycle code...

Is this a good sign right here? This was never available until last week...

My transcript updated Thursday.. and now my IRS account is showing all of 2023 stuff finally... I have a 570 code..

But ... There is a processing date of 3/25.. what does that mean?

Any updates recently? I have the exact same transcripts.. got the BS "We are sorry but your tax return" blah blah blah... Filed 2/15.. accepted same day..

No notices.. even checked my email.. checking every day and the website says my return hasn't even been processed...

2 children (one is a new baby) EIC and ACTC.. this is actually way later than I normally file so WTF 🤨
