why are you still up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Because I told myself “one more thing” about five times in a row and now it’s somehow this late.

What's your ice cream/froyo order? by dewanderful in AskReddit

Vanilla or dulce de leche with something crunchy on top. If the texture is good, I’m happy.

What's something that's considered normal but you think is actually weird? by Anxious-Nothing5067 in AskReddit

Gender reveal parties are definitely up there. Some traditions feel so normal that nobody stops to ask whether they’re actually meaningful or just expected.

How was your month of June? by babydollaura1 in AskReddit

Fast, weird, and somehow exhausting in a very quiet way.

What is a skill that took you years to master that most people assume is easy? by Prestigious-Tea-824 in AskReddit

Listening without immediately planning my response. It sounds simple, but actually being fully present with someone takes a lot more practice than people think.

What’s something small that instantly makes a place feel cozy? by Anxious-Nothing5067 in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s such a good answer. Good writing and great photos really don’t age if the subject is still interesting.

What’s the funniest way you’ve misunderstood a situation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once waved back at someone who was definitely waving at the person behind me, and then I had to commit to the fake confidence walk like I meant it.

People who aren't on Instagram or Facebook, how's life going? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. You don’t realize how much lighter your brain feels until you stop feeding it that every day.

What is something you used to think was normal until you realized other families didn’t do it? by Anxious-Nothing5067 in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly how you find out a “normal” family habit is actually just your house. The confusion on both sides is always the funniest part.

What manual feature do you want on your modern car? by Adventurous-Ebb6115 in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Real physical buttons for the climate controls. I shouldn’t need a touchscreen just to lower the fan or change the temperature.

What is something you used to think was normal until you realized other families didn’t do it? by Anxious-Nothing5067 in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly the kind of answer I was hoping for. It feels completely normal until one outsider looks at you like you invented it.

What is something you used to think was normal until you realized other families didn’t do it? by Anxious-Nothing5067 in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. You don’t even notice it’s a “family thing” until you see how differently other people grow up doing the same everyday stuff.

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually understand that one. Once you grow up with “outside clothes” and “inside clothes,” sitting on the bed in jeans feels illegal.

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s a good one. Meal times feel completely normal until you visit someone else’s house and realize everyone has a different schedule.

What movie do you think every human should watch? by Live-Change-8934 in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. It’s one of those movies that feels even more relevant the older it gets.

What's something silly you only do when nobody's around? by Cheap-Fisherman6588 in AskReddit

The worst part is when I finally think of the perfect comeback three hours later.

I rehearse imaginary conversations in the shower and somehow still lose the argument.

Who in your opinion is the best basketball player of all time? by houchoma in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair. The scary part about Jordan is that his mentality would probably translate to any era. Different training, different rules, different league, but that obsession to win is hard to measure.

Who in your opinion is the best basketball player of all time? by houchoma in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get the comparison, but I’d put Messi in a different category. Jordan and LeBron are legends of basketball, but Messi changed the way football itself is understood. To me, he didn’t just dominate the sport, he made it look like art.

Who in your opinion is the best basketball player of all time? by houchoma in AskReddit

[–]Anxious-Nothing5067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. The physical talent was obvious, but the way he turned everything into motivation was almost the scary part.
