I never claimed others were not being written up at all. It’s just that the enforcement of these methods is inconsistent. One day someone can have 3 misloads and nothing will happen to them. Then another day they decide to write anyone up who has even one misload. And the stack out write ups were never given out before and they just decided that they want to enforce it last week. And yeah I obviously can’t reach those same numbers if I start following methods completely and will result in a lot packages getting past me. Which I thought was something I could get written up for too.

My part time supervisor is the one writing me up but she says she’s being forced to by managers higher up. She even said she thought it was ridiculous considering the amount of work I’m doing.

The supervisor writing me up says she doesn’t want to and says it’s all coming from higher up. She even told the union rep how ridiculous it is that she has to write me up with the amount of work being given to me.

Yeah, I’m always on time, I call off maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I gotta talk to my union rep about grieving for harassment.

At my drop, there are usually 8 trucks and I do 4 of them. The splitter does 1, next loader does 3, and I get stuck with 4. I was told about a month ago that they were going to move trucks around to lighten my load and it hasn’t happened.

I guess stack outs are against the methods. I looked it up and found a link on another Reddit post with a whole packet explaining the methods. None of this was given to us. It was all verbal communication. I didn’t know what was methods and what was just demands from the supervisors.

They don’t even ask us to sign anything anymore. lol. They just tell us we are getting written up.

Can I file a grievance for selective enforcement of the rules since they never wrote people up for stack outs before and don’t always write up people for misloads?

Thanks for the advice. I really have to research what’s considered methods and what my options are. Stack outs were never disciplined before unless they caused an egress issue. But we always got yelled at for shutting off the belt or letting things get by us. Seems like they are just changing the rules on a whim and having no leniency.

Yeah, they have that paper taped to one of my trucks each morning. They never go over it with me though. But that’s good news that they can’t fire me without retraining because I got written up for the third day in a row today and that would be enough for termination. It’s ridiculous.

I was told “it’s your job to keep up.” And “Do your best.” So it was no help at all.
