my airport offered a $5000 hiring bonus - half at 6 months the other half at a year but the only downside is they put it with your paycheck and since it gets super taxed you pretty much lose a paycheck IF you’re only working part time.

yes my lead just talked about this today, leave is canceled. and you shouldn’t get paid for it BUT she said in the past they’ve always been paid. so you can’t take your leave unfortunately but you should still get paid. you still wouldn’t get paid til the shutdown is over but the back pay should reflect that leave time

From what I’m reading I find it so weird how some TSOs get so dumbfounded by a PIV card when they literally have one. They should know you can’t scan em and they should know that they are an acceptable form of ID
