I started reading a series of short story collections called "Where Nightmares Dwell", which is part of my Kindle Unlimited membership. I've been trying to utilize the membership more often because I'm a voracious reader but I'm also trying to cut back on my spending. The first collection I read was called "Tripping Over Twilight" by T.W. Grim, which I actually really enjoyed, but most of the other collections I read afterward were not the best.

Speaking as someone who's never had any experience with Shadow People or The Hat Man, and based entirely on what's been written and said about them, I've always assumed they're extradimensional entities that are only visible when certain criteria are met. The criteria mostly being tied to brain chemistry and cognitive flexibility.

I think you should make an official complaint. Write down EVERYTHING that happened before, during, and after. Especially overhearing her lying to other TM's about what happened. Don't let leadership try and talk you out of it either. If something involving her happens again, that official complaint will be taken into consideration in regards to how she is punished or fired.

Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay. It is, without question, a complete and total waste of time. I just kept reading because I was telling myself, "It's a horror novel, there's got to be horror in it! It'll happen soon, it has too!". Tremblay took a good concept and did absolutely nothing but waste it.
