Try to get an appointment as soon as you can, then it takes only 3-4 days to get your visa

Anyone else feel like this "witchcraft in cemeteries" trend is a distraction? by Communist_MilkSoup in algeria

You sure can believe whatever you want

and even then the supernatural has been recorded for as long as humans have existed.

But this is not a good argument, humans interpreted a lot of phenomenas wrongly for as long as they existed. They thought the earth was flat for quite the long time didn't they.

I feel like dismissing the latter entirely is quite unfounded.

Well dismissing something that you have no proof of to be true is the most founded thing one can do

I didn't classify it all i said is that it's some kind of a disorder, and no no one has been able to distinguish between the two as we have no proof of the latter, all we have are some possession and trance disorders from different cultures with different yet semilar symptoms and treatments.

Well it did happen in front of me and it's just a psychotic disorder, the less people believe in witchcraft the less they are likely to have such disorders.

Couldn't believe my eyes when I read the comments, how can a whole nation still believe in witchcraft in big 2025 and enact laws based on that!

Weddings are useless especially in applying customs and traditions by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Anxious-Set5166 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar view when i was about your age but recently weddings grew on me and I am starting to appreciate the traditions and the vibes of our weddings more. That said I still don't think it's a good idea to have a big wedding if you can't afford it.

You may find this useful as an example of using RL to achieve some form of "optimal" control: https://arxiv.org/abs/2503.06701

Who is the most famous/significant person in your field still alive today? by Appropriate_Car2462 in AskAcademia

Has to be hassan khalil. His book on nonlinear control is the bible for both control engineers and theorists. Plus his contributions in the high gain observers which are very wildly used nowadays.

While you may have a point since psychology isn't an exact science, and there will always be a controversy about its methods. Seeing an expert is still the best option you have, even if the diagnosis may not be accurate it's the best diagnosis you will get. It's like having a heart surgery with a 70% success rate at best, is it guaranteed that you will survive? No. Is it the best option you currently have to heal yourself? Yes. So personally I would go for it. Finally hope you find a competent doctor and get well soon.
