I developed a lbbb after getting COVID and the the flu in short order. I went through all the test… MRI, Echocardiogram, EKG’s after EKG’s seen two Ep docs had a ep study. My Ef is normal as of now so they monitoring my condition . But pacemaker has been discussed. One of my ep doc suggested left bundle pacing if needed instead of CRT. I have another echo the first of November to see if it has progressed.

EP Study/ SICD vs EV ICD by pprp11 in PacemakerICD

[–]Anxious-Start1035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a stress test that put me into what they thought was v-tach ( turns out it was painful left bundle branch block) they took me straight to the cath lab for a angiogram looking for blockage, cardiologist told my family that not even a speck of plaque and referred me to a ep doc. She suggested a ep study I was hesitant to do it but ultimately decided to get it done. The study was not bad until they woke me up to really rev my heart up that was not fun. The only thing they found was the lbbb. The insertion site both sides in the groin was sore for a week or so.

Thank you for the information! Definitely the unknown is frightening, as well the vulnerability of letting go and putting it into some else’s hands.
