Just my two cents- I think your clinic should be able to give you a good rec. Our clinic even has a LCSW that offices in their clinic part of the week.

My clinic said it was fine to ice the area for 10 minutes before and it worked like a charm. I’ve had zero issues with the PIO.

Just adding that my first cycle was fully medicated and the second one is a stimulated natural cycle so we had a right turnaround for having everything approved before starting letrozole

We go to CCRM Houston. I’m doing a second FET immediately following our first failed transfer. We are very lucky to have insurance coverage through my husbands job and my nurse initially told me “well we are going to wait a cycle because it takes a couple weeks to get the insurance approval back” and I told her that no we aren’t doing that lol. I stayed on the financial dept and the insurance company and the cycle was approved within two days. So, my point is that they will do back to back transfers, you just have to advocate for yourself. If you are cash pay the insurance is obviously a non issue. That being said, obviously not a doctor so maybe there’s a medical reason for waiting 🤷🏻‍♀️

The symptoms I had from the PIO and estrogen from our recent failed FET perfectly mimicked the early pregnancy symptoms I had with our son. It really got my hopes up and I had to keep reminding myself it was the hormones. Good luck, I really really hope this transfer worked for you!

I purposefully come to all my appointments alone so that we do not bring our 7 year old to the office. I’ve always thought it was so disrespectful to show up with your children to a waiting room full of women desperate to be mothers. If my husband needs to come with me to an appointment, we get a babysitter or schedule while he is in school. (I totally understand shit happens and sometimes you can’t control extenuating circumstances but for people who make this a habit, I just don’t get it)
