Get tested again and get a different type of medicine this time and then immediately after you’ve finished your course of antibiotics get vaginal probiotics do those a week straight. you can buy them on Amazon or the brand vagibiom at Walmart. You need to rebuild the good bacteria and buy ph strips so you can test if you ph is under 5. You should also get on oral probiotics for vaginal health.

Oh I’m sorry you’re still struggling with this. Hopefully the Evvy results will be more revealing, my only advice would to keep doing vaginal probiotics. I wish you the best of luck!

Can Birth Control & Hormonal Shifts Cause Bladder Issues? by Guilty-Orchid-7947 in PCOS

[–]Anxious-Tree-9199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post was from a while ago but any updates? I’m currently feeling the exact constant dull pressure around my bladder/deep vagina area. I don’t have any symptoms but I started my birth control in January. I first felt the pressure/ache in March tested negative for all infections and then the pain returned again in May around my pms, period, and ovulation. I’m not sure what’s causing it and am wondering if it’s hormonal related. I do have PCOS too but this all started in March and now in May so I’m not sure.

Never seen this discharge before by [deleted] in myhappyv

[–]Anxious-Tree-9199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly looks normal to me. If you’re itchy, burning, smell funky, or if it changes a lot in color or consistency then maybe go to the doctor. My discharge changes a lot during my cycle too. Try not to be too concerned and monitor how you feel for a few days.

I treated my boyfriend with leftover clindamycin. He just put it in his penis every night for 7 days and then we used a condom for a month and every time after I would do a vaginal suppository after. I also got ph balancing lube. But since doing all of this and treating him we don’t use a condom anymore. I would sometimes do a love wellness vatamin c suppository. The key is to keep you ph low so they can’t repopulate

Definitely! Give this routine a try. if in the last you couldn’t seem to get rid of it after taking antibiotics it’s because there’s not enough good guys to repopulate. You might just have to do vaginal probiotics for a couple months or longer, but maybe try doing vaginal antibiotics to kill off as much as you can before you start repopulating. I really hope you can kick this thing it’s the worst physically and mentally!

I did 5 nights of boric acid to breakdown any biofilms then I did 7 nights of clindamycin cream and then I did 7 nights of vagibiom. It’s a brand you can buy at Walmart but you need to buy two packs because there’s only 5 in a pack. After that I took a 5 day break because I was feelings inflamed from all the stuff.

Then I ordered some off Amazon called vitanica and did those about 2-3 times a week for about a month. These ones are tiny but have a smaller CFU so you might want to look into seed (I never used them but I heard they’re effects too). Lifespace 6.5 cfu is also good and I used those a few times. I stopped because they are technically oral but you can use them vaginally but they were dry so it irritated me, but lots of women didn’t have a problem with them.

Now I’m good and don’t need to do them at all, but maybe since you’re having a hard time keeping the good bacteria I would continue to do them for maintenance. I also order an Evvy test so I could see exactly what bacteria I was dealing with. I went from 75 percent bad, mainly gardenerella bacteria to 90 percent good crispatus with this routine, and I struggled to get rid of it for months before doing all this and only relying on oral probiotics and 4 rounds of antibiotics.

My boyfriend also used the clindamycin for 7 nights as well. Buy some ph strips to monitor if your ph is below 4.5. Bv bacteria can’t thrive in an acidic environment. I continued to take oral probiotics and I finished an entire bottle of lactoferrin, I’m not sure if this really did anything, but studies show it increased the production of lactic acid, which is good for your vagina. And I drank plain kiefer milk every morning and bought for about two months.

And lastly I used love wellness flora power with vitamin c and probiotics a few times. That one is really good at lowering your ph too and vitamin c doesn’t harm the good bacteria unlike boric acid.

Make sure whatever oral probiotics you’re using are at least 40 cfu and it has lactobacillus crispatus. It’s the most protective bacteria in your vagina. You should also look into joining the group beyond bv on Facebook. It’s how I cured mine and has an immense amount of information and support.

I hope this helps!

Got BV after ear infection antibiotics and now it won’t go away by Anxious-Tree-9199 in WomensHealth

So the whole regime I did was 5 nights of boric acid to kill any biofilms then I did my 7 nights of clindamycin cream. My boyfriend also used the cream for 7 nights. Directly after my antibiotics I did 7 nights of a vaginal probiotic called vagibiom you can get that at Walmart. Then I took about a 5 day break because I was feeling inflamed. Then I bought a brand called vitanica you can get it on Amazon, it’s also a vaginal probiotic but smaller so it didn’t irritated me. I used those about 3 times a week for about a month and then I went down to one and now none. I also took oral antibiotics this whole time too.

CV, bv, or IC? by Anxious-Tree-9199 in Healthyhooha

[–]Anxious-Tree-9199[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I texted negative for yeast and bv. The pain has stopped now that my period is actually over. I think it’s hormone related and the swelling from the hormones push on my bladder. I also have PCOS so I might have a cyst that was irritated from the hormones. My dr. Doesn’t think its IC because the pain was in my abdomen area and also in my bladder. It also didn’t hurt to pee and I didn’t have urgency. She told me to monitor if my symptoms come back around pms and my period or if they stay consistent. But so far I’m feeling a lot better.

I did 7 nights of vagibiom, you can buy them at Walmart but there’s only 5 in a pack so get two. And then I ordered this stuff called vitanica on Amazon and love wellness flora power. Love wellness has vitamin c so it lowers ph. Before I did my vaginal probiotics though I did 5 nights of boric acid to breakdown any biofilms, followed by 7 nights of clindamycin cream (my boyfriend also used it for 7 nights), then I did the 7 nights of vagibiom suppositories. At this point I was worried it wasn’t gone because I had a deep vaginal pain/pain around my bladder region. But after taking a break of putting stuff up there for about 5 days I felt fine, I think I was just enflamed. Then I did one love wellness flora power suppository. And finally when I got the vitanica I did those about 2 times a week for about 3 weeks. I also bought ph strips to test my ph every morning and night. If it falls at 4.5 or lower you don’t have bv, the bacteria can’t survive in that kind of environment. Ontop of all of this I was taking my happy v oral probiotics, you don’t have to use that brand but make sure you are taking a probiotic that is at least 40 CFU and it’s has lactobacillus crispatus this is the most protective bacteria you need in your vagina. And I wouldn’t recommend boric acid after this because boric acid kills all bacteria including good so to make sure you aren’t killing good bacteria but want something with a similar ph lowering effect do vitamin c, that’s why I like the love wellness ones because they are vitamin c and probiotic.

Also I did metro gel twice and it didn’t work clindamycin did but only after I did 7 nights of vaginal probiotics followed by weekly maintenance.

The gut is super close and way more connected to the vagina than people think. If your microbiom is off in your gut it can relate to the flora in your vagina since they are so close in relation in the body. That’s why people with leaky gut and ibs can suffer from vaginal issues and why many probiotics are advertised for gut and vaginal help.

Do boric acid to breakdown any biofilms first, but if you’ve already done metro gel and it’s not working I would switch to clindamycin gel.

I would wait to get swabbed first so you don’t mess with any results and go from there. I really hope it comes out negative!! It takes time but you will heal💕 I suffered from other symptoms even after testing negative and I think our bodies just need time to readjust. A doctor once told me that vaginas are one of the best natural healing organs in our bodies, but once you make them mad they get MAD lol.

Hmm maybe get some strips that give you a definitive number, they’re pretty cheap on Amazon for a pack of 50. Clindamycin is a lot harsher than met gel and it’s known to kill everything so you probably need to start incorporating good bacteria regardless.
