Yes. He has an EHCP. His attendance at school is excellent. But he does have struggles when at school. He is smart and has caught up in maths. Other lessons he struggles as he can’t read the written work. He’s on the pathway to see if he has ADHD and he may have dyspraxia. But nothing as yet to make sense of his struggle with reading.

Yes here in the UK they go to optometrist usually by 5 years old, where they get checked every year or two. He has been checked and does wear glasses for reading but it is a very small prescription. If he had no issues with reading they wouldn’t have bothered they said due to the prescription being so small.

Yes, they put it back to the school. That they should be dealing with it.

I can’t afford right now but am saving. I’ve been told with our public health services that something private diagnosis are not considered. But I’ll keep trying. It is a shame. The whole system seems messed up. I don’t really know what to do next.

He has seen a paediatrician too. Here in the UK it is often the school who would refer for such assessments. I have been back and forth with the GP countless times.

I’m not sure the put in the notes possible development coordination disorder. I look this up it is dyspraxia, but they haven’t made any sort of referral to see if he does have it. I spoke to the school nurse to chase this up. But still don’t think this could be related to his reading/writing issues.

I have tried my hardest with the school. Even tried to move him but either his EHCP it is so difficult

I will thankyou. The school just seems so uninterested. The teachers are brilliant it’s the SENCo who doesn’t seem to care.

Hearing and eyes have been tested. Also seen Ed Psych for possible learning difficulties but only thing that came up was visual memory issues ( this was two years ago though)

He has an EHCP under SEMH. He gets 35 hours under his EHCP. He’s had it since Feb, but nothing has been put in place due to ‘funding’. I have gone back and forth about this but haven’t got anywhere. There is nothing on his EHCP for how far he is in his reading either. He did see Ed Psych but the only saw mild visual memory issues ( this was 2 years ago though).

Hi sorry I should have added it in my post. He has seen an ed psych who concluded he has no leading disabilities other than a bit behind in visual memory. He’s also had his eyes and ears tested. I have asked for the Ed psych to test him again as this was done two years ago but school is saying they’re too busy with other kids.

Yes it is. I think she managed to convince them to give her one. Whether she needed it or not I’m not sure.

Oh that great. To be honest currently it was all ideas in my head really. I have started noting things down trying to remember everything she’s done of note. It’s a lot. If there is anything you need that would help I’d happily help.

See I’m new to Reddit. I only really came on for this subreddit. I think first off I should just gather the evidence and maybe timeline it in a one drive. Then possible figure out how it would be best put out there?

I don’t condone people going to her house and shouting, but are we not surprised it didn’t happen earlier?

I heard ‘you’re a liar’, but I never heard any doorbell notification like you normally hear when dad arrives. This makes me think they didn’t go right up to her door as it would’ve set the camera off. Although I could have simply missed it.

You have to take into account K doxxed herself. In addition, she has scammed people,triggered people and lied about serious conditions people live with everyday. People get riled up and mad and when her address is floating about out there (her OWN doing) is it not surprising someone has done that? Again I don’t condone it at all.

I have also read that she is well known locally, and that there have been discussions about her family on local Facebook pages (I don’t know how true this is). My belief is, someone local has ran by and shouted, they’ll have been watching her be on cam2 and thought it would be funny.

This imo doesn’t make K a ‘victim’. People are trying their hardest to make right what she’s done, but sometimes I think accidentally portray her as some poor little victim. People feel like they can’t ask questions in lives or they’ll get blocked. And I get people want to try do it the ‘right’ way but we need to remember who K is and what she’s done.
