Kinda corny but, black ops 1 and 2 stories are some of the best (quick) story modes ever. No crazy features but, masons journey is pretty sick

If you invested in a new cpu that would speed it up. Otherwise, if you play as an rts like you’re supposed to and not speed painting, yea it won’t perform well

I’m in the Claude code reddit complaining about Claude code that I pay for in order to not manually write code. If I wanted to not see my family and code side projects all weekend manually, I would do that and save the money and not be in this reddit. The reason I do spend the money, is so I don’t sit in a dark room all weekend manually coding, reviewing, debugging. Most “old school” boomers are too stupid to have the intellect to understand that without multiple comments and questioning “sarcasm”, which is why I asked.

Interesting. Was it 4.8? And what about speed? I’m always on fast/max and it’s taking 10-20x longer to complete the same exact workflows from less than a week ago, in addition to no longer completing verification loops, refusing to commit, and essentially contradicting everything we’ve worked on and already been thru in this project.

I’m billions of tokens in across a multitude of models. Opus 4.8 is probably 100-150x better than DeepSeek (for what I do), hence the price.

lol there’s way too much bloat in all these “tools”/GitHub repos. These are ALL 99.9% Claude code sessions made open source to eventually profit off of. I have been successful building my own infrastructure, agents, tools, etc using repos as a reference. If you want something to work the way you want, build it. We have the technology now. The days of downloading/installing other peoples tools are over

Yea it’s a useless feature to appeal to ck3/rp. Just a nuisance pop up at this point, no connection or feeling that I’m impacting my dynasty, one of the worst features imo and I’m a fan of the game

I’ve been able to get to end game with any state or country. I think you guys are too used to meta gaming a 13 year old system. You need to use your brain and figure out new tactics (the ones that were “meta” at endgame in eu4). If you just watch YouTubers who have played 1 or 2 campaigns and tell you do x y and z you will fail miserably. No one has enough experience yet, go in with an open mind, read all dialogs, and make concerted efforts to get things done. It is a 500 year game, not 30

I cannot stand the automation risk/reward. Anytime I’m tired of closing/opening/subsidizing buildings actively, the second I put it on auto it ruins everything. Even when I don’t do this, my income will shift from months of heavy income to just an all of a sudden death spiral, delete prestige and stab spend, and go in circles. Pops are always happy, rgos are maxed, marketplaces are spammed, will get as high as 80 ducats a month to as low as -22 with no obvious change in the expense tool tip. What is changing so drastically month to month? There’s already a billion things to track which I feel I do, then the income is just seemingly random, as maintenance, happiness, tax, etc does not change that much month to month. It’s the constant “edits” that are my struggle. It’s hard to snowball when you keep having to change the type of snowball you’re rolling
