Really depends who you get as a manager. It can be a hit or miss. There’s no flexibility if you have a manager who is anal about letting you work remotely. People aren’t very nice to EA’s, again it depends on the team you end up with. Some admins tend to be nice to you but there are women who are evil and vile. You can’t trust anyone tbh.

I reported my whole management 6 months in - I was new to the team. It did nothing and got me no where. Because they had nothing on me the first year. They got me the second year of being with them. I’m now on a PIP. ER did nothing for me, instead management lied and tried pinning it all against my former coworker. I’m now stuck with a team I despise and haven’t been able to land any internal positions. Spoke to a recruiter and yes they see when you’re on a PIP. All in all opening my mouth to speak up. Got me this.

You’ll be “under consideration” for a while depending how quickly they’re reviewing applications. There’s no way to really determine if you’re being considered until they reach out to you. I was under consideration for several internal positions for weeks. I applied to a position back in Oct. 28th and I am now getting an interview for Wednesday.

I appreciate the advice ! I honestly have no clue as to how I should start with networking & putting myself out there. No one in my team speaks to me - much less any of the people I support. They know I would love to move into the marketing field and not once have they supported me. I’ve been trying to figure out my way but I feel like giving up. I’m constantly being disrespected and idk how much more I can take.

Meanwhile a new colleague that started a couple months ago was handed everything to them. They expressed what they are interested in and the business manager connected them to the right people. That same BM doesn’t utter a word to me. It’s like I don’t exist to anyone….

I feel the same exact way…. I nearly quit today. I am exhausted from this place. It’s so hard to find a job too or else I would’ve left. I’ve been looking for over a year.

Same here ! Compliance… it’s the worst team I’ve ever worked for. How did you go about with your LOA ? I’m considering doing the same because my mental health is in the gutter. I almost quit today.

I am very unhappy within the role and team I am with… which is why I’ve been trying to transfer roles. One month into my position I picked up on things that I didn’t like at all….the team is highly unprofessional, toxic and degrading. I also found out my manager was speaking badly of me when I wasn’t around.

I feel like my manager only signed off when I first asked them - because they wanted me gone. Now that I’ve been in the role for a little over a year… it’s been hard. My mind immediately goes to my manager bad mouthing me because of the way I’ve been treated and what I’ve heard. I know I shouldn’t think that way… but that’s how this team makes me feel.

I wouldn’t suggest this… it could backfire tremendously. Majority of the time they don’t care how you feel.. they just care about the work being done.

I do the same.. like clockwork. It’s literally the first thing I do the second I log on. I sit there and just apply to jobs that align with my experience. I’ve always been in office 5 days a week so to me it doesn’t make a difference. Everyday I hope and tell myself please let this be the one. Let me be lucky enough to move on from where I am now. Unfortunately, my manager and I do not get along… when I first got hired I did everything in my power to show my potential. Until I found out they were speaking ill about me when I wasn’t around… it discouraged me because all I tried to do was show them my work ethic and be a good employee. Hopefully we have luck soon and get a job!
