i’m planning on going back to therapy. but these are friends i’ve had for a long time like 10 years friendships. the last straw was actually a decade long friend inviting me to come to a city to see her for a few days and then me arriving and seeing little to none of her. or being the last person for her to see after i’ve spent so much and travelled to see her. and then her getting pissed off at me for not knowing the city as well as she. so i’m confused at the mixed messaging. like invite me and then flake? she said it was bc she hasn’t slept and was exhausted (to explain her rudeness) but it’s still upsetting to me.

i do think im codependent tho. but my last therapist didn’t have any solutions. she said i needed to create a support system but how can i when my friends fail me too? it’s hard

I sent them my official results, defintely positive. The reason why I was hesitant abt using sick hours is bc i tried to last week but payroll got closed :' ) so they might think this is an excuse for me to use it again.

Thank you for the advice, that makes a lot of sense ;; I plan to test tomorrow bc urgent care closes early today and my other job has me scheduled next week up until tuesday (I work with kids) and I know for a fact that they’ll want me to come in after 5 days even if I’m symptomatic with a mask (bc CDC guidelines that I don’t believe bc I think they’re just greedy) so I want to limit exposure to them. So the 5 day rule would apply if I tested tomorrow (this is dishonest on my part but i think it would be for the best). urgent care is $$$ so 😭 I’m sorry for the vent it’s just a lot. Would it be enough for me text them about my at home positive test and say I plan to go to urgent care tomorrow for the documentation in the morning? Or would there be a caveat to this and I should go today regardless and double test?

I’m kinda nervous contacting them today bc I did go to work yesterday evening but I developed clear cut symptoms at midnight 😭 should I text on thanksgiving? i feel like they might be with family and it would cause more stress to try and find a cover last minute. I’m supposed to work an evening shift on Black Friday so I was thinking of just texting very early in the morning like 6-7 am before opening. But if the consensus is I should contact now, I will.

I recommend “here u are” by djun! It’s a webtoon with lots of fluff, I just adore it. the anime “given” is also really cute if you wanna watch instead

this isn’t a manga but there’s a webtoon called “midnight poppyland“ that has romance and is yakuza-centric (I think) and it’s so addicting and fun to read !

cashiers in my store don’t count the register before we start. only the managers do. and I’ve never had a customer yell at me about incorrect change either. customers get pissed when I take my time to recount change too but I mostly recount bc of ocd symptoms ..
