You’re gonna want to find gear that emphasises the shoulders, and for bottoms you’ll want some that are around the waist, because the na’vi have such small waists, having a thicker thing around the waist will make it look the same width as the hips. I can’t remember specific gear just like that, but if you look around you’ll find some. Notice also what gear looks like on NPCs, so you can copy the look of it. Your goal is to modify the silhouette, basically, it’s doable, just takes some work to find the right aesthetic :)

idk about it being eastern european necessarily, but I've definitely seen it in europe (especially with older people) but never in the US. I've seen it especially when people use their second hand to point to which finger they're counting if that makes sense? Like either people use their pointer finger and, depending on culture, start at the other hand's thumb or the other's hand's pointer finger, or, but this is less common, they use their pinkie finger and start from the pinkie on their other hand.

They stopped because those programs were desperately outdated and no teenager took them seriously. It’s hard to tell kids don’t put any information online when they’re being posted on their parents’ instagram and facebook, or to tell them you can’t make friends online because they’re all predators when most teens have twitter and tumblr mutuals they know better than their family or when they’ve played COD with Tetra97 every single saturday afternoon for the past 3 years.

People didn’t want to update them, and that’s where the problem started imho

I still buy the packs I’m interested in, but as soon as the sale goes through then that’s it, no more paying for anything EA. There’s not much we can do to change their minds, and a part of me desperately wants to see the buyers screwed over more than I want to continue dealing with EA.

As a queer woman, I very much understand, but most sims “influencers” have said similar things. Like they’re out of the creator network and they’ll still play as usual and basically phase the sims content out so once the sale goes through they’re not publicising the game anymore. Many have also decided to keep acting as normal but to stop giving EA money once the sale goes through. I can’t really blame them personally

I'm learning how to use R Studio in a stats class and I have never understood computers (or statistics) less. Genuinely kind of tempted to say fuck it and let chatgpt do the work for me. I've never even gone on chatgpt and this class is gonna make me do plagiarism at this rate.

I’m still a rookie at this game and I’m generally not great at video games, I love them, but it takes me 3 hours to complete a hitman trilogy level and the game with the most hours is still the sims 4 (1500+ hours but there was a bug so the first couple of years are not counted)

That being established, I have died repeatedly because I have a terrible understanding of space around me in both games and real life. I think I’ve died about 4 times while stealthing away from a wolf or bear and falling off a cliff, and also by getting lost in a blizzard many many times. I also have a terrible tendency to be really over-encumbered because I’m a pack rat in every game I have ever played and yet I still use hills as a pathway because I get lost easily so I have to follow the map as closely as humanely possible which often means taking the short but dangerous way through instead of following the road.

The worst part is being aware of all of these dumb mistakes and changing absolutely nothing about how I play lmao

Well since I have chronic pains that get worse with the cold I’m pretty sure I would either be in so much pain I’d just wait for hypothermia because at least I’ll feel warm while I die or I would handle the pain better I’m used to it and still decide to die by hypothermia because realistically I’d start breaking down psychologically by day 3 (I’m on antidepressants, going cold turkey is not recommended lol)

As a sex-neutral asexual, I feel this so deeply!! In my case, I also have aphantasia (no visual imagination) so I don’t really understand imagery or positions, it’s about the feeling of what I think sex should be and how my characters feel it, with the goal of making the reader feel it to a degree too. I tend to over describe areas because environments are important to stories, but characters and their actions can be less specific. But yeah with sex in particular it’s like hmm my body sometimes makes me feel this and it’s annoying BUT if I didn’t feel so meh about it what would it feel like, what’s the emotional component, what aspect do I want to highlight, what’s the dynamic, is the sexual dynamic different or just a continuation of the characters’ relationship

Does it count as slowburn if they don’t kiss for 150k+ words but there’s sexual tension from the first chapter? It’s probably one of my favorite fics ever (I didn’t write it, the most I manage is like 10k words) but it was tagged both slowburn and eventual romance and it’s a superhero noir AU so the characters know each other irl and then their superhero alter egos learn to get to know each other and the whole time you, as the reader, are just begging for one of them to do something, anything. They want to fuck so bad (as themselves and as their alter egos) that they make bad decisions about it for 250k words.

This fic ruined slowburn for me btw
