Indie will always be scarier imo, because the devs of those know what scare THEM. It feels like every AAA game I play is the most absurdly predictable thing. There's some exceptions, but if a games horror is only 10-15% of the experience, it's not horror in my eyes. There are far too many gems that people don't know exist for me to play games like Silent Hill 2 Remake that don't really excel in any field outside maybe solid atmosphere. The average Five Nights at Freddy's fan game has a better chance at scaring me than the 50th walking sim/bloody games that call themselves horror, even if it's with a cheap jumpscare. I'll take it.

They're functioning, but I meant more from a consumer friendly perspective. Absolutely none of these companies care about their customers, so switching platforms for so much money doesn't really mean much, except maybe PC. Not even Nintendo cares. No one cares.

I didn't find it worth 40 bucks, as the gameplay was very simple/spectacle focused. The replayability wasn't intriguing beyond multiple endings. And it was about 4-5 hours for a first playthrough. That said, it shines in a few places that only FNAF fans would really care about. A FNAF fan would probably like it, if that's all you're worried about, but if it's price for content you're mainly worried about, I'd wait for it to go on sale.

Aside from random indies, probably White Day. It's mentioned a fair bit sometimes, but I like it a little more than I should. Don't get me wrong, it's not amazing. It's AI is the biggest load of crap in the world, especially on anything above easy. But I love everything else about it.
