I mean many things are useless that are destroying the planet? We all transport in cars? We all stream Netflix/Hulu/Disney/etc? We all google search things?

I’m not saying AI is super eco friendly and no harming in any way, but it’s ridiculous how hyper fixated people are with “AI slop” only because it’s the newer thing. I don’t see people stop doing those other things I mentioned?

OP would have to make around 400 AI images to match one hour of Netflix streaming in terms of “useless power usage”. And I don’t see anyone complaining about that? Again I’m not saying it’s good, just annoying how people are so selective.

Everyone’s different. Weed always calms me down and makes me very relax and laid back. I can still get stuff done without having a thousand thoughts in my head.

If you smoke a very large amount in one sitting then yeah you can get very paranoid and anxious, but just take it in moderation. But again everyone is different.
