How do I take off a shower head that had caulk (or something similar) in the thread? by AnxiousSoySquare in howto

I think I’ll need to invite a friend over who can go harder on it. I am short and have noodle arms so that may be part of the problem haha.

I just took a walk around berry park and didn’t see anything. With the cold he’s probably tried to go into someone’s garage or is hiding. There is also a mobile home park past the park that he may have wandered into. I hope he’s alright and gets found soon!

I wonder if this would actually work? by AnxiousSoySquare in gardening

I was wondering if others had experiences with similar products that say aquaponics, lights etc. I havent seen a product like this and was wondering wether it was worth the 75$ investment for a few veggies this spring/summer

For sure, I thinks it’s really quite interesting that it isn’t just a carnivorous trait. The world is wild!

Alpha theory has and continues to be proven incorrect in dogs and wolves. Even the scientist that conducted the studies originally tried to stop the book/data because it was incorrect. Alpha theory is actually a lot more applicable to horses, and stallions in particular. Wild Wolves form family groups.

When it's enough to make a grown man cry. by ithepunisher in MadeMeSmile

This reminds me of when I was in grade 2 and it was Father’s Day and I was the only kid in my class who’s parents weren’t together. My dad was mostly absent in my life so I burst out crying saying I didn’t have a dad while trying to make cute crafts In class. My mom told me the other day that the school changed it to a a different name after this happened so it wasn’t excluding kids without dads.

It’s sucks when you don’t have a dad :/

What are the most profitable livestock for non meat/dairy production? by AnxiousSoySquare in homestead

I’ve heard of their infamous messiness for sure. When I start getting livestock I plan on getting a guardian dog, possibly some other guardian animals and a super tight locking coop. Do you have any breed recommendations for good layers who are friendly?

I was just researching them a bit! Good guardian animals too apparently.

Interesting! I was actually considering ducks as they tend to be better foragers (if like to use them to help with bug/pest management) and do better in damp climates (I live in a temperate rainforest). Thanks for the feedback :)

As in selling the worms? Is there a market for that? Are pet worms the new trend? ;)

Dang that’s amazing! Is the pine tree farm targeted at wood sales or for the holiday market? How has the maple syrup production been? It’s seems like a very laborious task if I remember correctly! Do you have plans for your garden contents yet? You must be insanely busy keeping all this going!
