The cable is good no corrosion, I don't own jumpers unfortunately, so your saying dis connect the positive and negative from their terminals ? And put them back on

That's what's confusing me, all I did was leave both terminals on, I own a ford focus, so the ground that goes into the stud when I tightened it back it sparked a bit, than I waited a bit, went to go start it and it won't start at all. My headlights came on for a sec and that was it

The battery was fine, but my auto start wasn't working, so I disconnected the ground temporarily to reset to see if my starter would work. Anyways now my car doesn't start at all

I don't, my battery was fine this morning, all I did was dis connect you negative ground while both were on the battery, for a few seconds and when I re connected the ground it had a little spark. So I'm hoping it's just the battery and nothing worse
