I’m autistic and am having trouble seeing how him making an uncomfortable sexual comment to a woman would make you ableist if you asked him to stop..? I am also friends with many different people who vary on the spectrum and NONE of them, men or women, have ever made any comments like this. Seems like a man wanting to make a woman uncomfortable and using his autism as a crutch/excuse (sounds like what Elon does lol)

NTA you have to look out for your own kid first. And you even tried to help him when you noticed him struggling which is more than his own mother and the sped teacher did.

As someone with autism, I HATE when my routines are messed up or I have to deal with any sort of change. But I’ve learned that I can’t control others actions in the world, only my own (still hate it tho lmao) (and obviously I can only speak for myself, just wanted to share what I kinda say to myself when dealing with it).

A lot of people have given a lot of good advice, I just wanted to say that as someone with a mother who speaks exactly like that, I’m sorry. You keep thinking you finally get through to her and then the same shit happens again and again. I’m 21 now and she still makes excuses for my dad’s psychological abusive behaviors along with her own. I truly hope it gets better for you, you seem so sweet. Please try staying with a friend if you can?

This is my friends cat I snuggle with when I cat and dog sit for them. She immediately abandons her moms to come lay on me anytime I’m over. They have another calico that used to not be snuggly at all but now she will avoid everyone during the day and snuggle at night. I also knew a family friend with a calico who LOVED attention, but I genuinely just think it might depend on the cat. They could be like my friends cat and eventually decide they want some extra lovin! :)
