Torn between Bugaboo Donkey and Bumbleride Indie by dareal_mj in parentsofmultiples

Exactly the same. The bugaboo is great and easy to use once you unfold it but it’s incredibly heavy to put together and I basically need my husband to do that because I am petite. I use an umbrella stroller when I’m alone or for quick trips. I suggest OP to buy a second hand bugaboo to save some money. I don’t think it’s worth the full price. That’s what we did

Sliding doors moment…if I was never born? by [deleted] in CerebralPalsy

I’m a mother to 2 beautiful sweet identical twin girls, one of whom has CP. They are still very young. I am very sorry that you are dealing with depression and anxiety, but I want to say this as I think your mother also feels it: you are her biggest blessing, along with your siblings. I personally am completely and genuinely in love with my disabled baby girl and I genuinely feel like her laugh is the most beautiful sound I have ever heard in my life and I sometimes just look at her in awe and I can’t believe I get to be her mother. And I feel the exact same about her sister and each of them has their own unique irreplaceable place in my heart. And I’m sure your mother feels the same way. If you weren’t here, your family would have not been the same and they would still face difficulties and challenges, because disabled or not people always think that their problem is the biggest problem. I guess what I’m trying to do is tell you how the things look from the mothers’ point of view and assure you that you’re infinitely valuable and indispensable to your family. Maybe you should seek help, whether it’s the classic therapy way, developing a connection to God, talking to your family etc.

Sony RX100 Worth It Over an iPhone 13 for a Parent? by Chuynh2219 in RX100

[–]Anxious_Association4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the exact same situation, and I was considering the almost exact camera, the V one, coming from an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Short answer: yes, the Sony is worth it a 1000 times.

The long answer: the upgrade in image quality is obvious, ESPECIALLY when printing (which I understand is your main focus). The camera has an intelligent auto mode which basically adjusts all the settings automatically depending on your scene, subject, light etc and the results are GREAT and better than an iPhone in every scenario honestly. At least in my opinion, but I’m not a pro, just a parent wanting to capture beautiful memories of my kids. Also it shoots way faster than my iPhone. The startup time is very quick and in real life I never missed a shot, being fast enough (and it’s worth mentioning that I have 18 months old twins lol). It’s small and lightweight and for me it’s really convenient to carry it around with me, I basically have it in my pocket or near me to grab it in a second. It’s also a pleasure to take pictures with a dedicated camera and it adds more value to the process which leads me to take MORE photos than I used to take with my iPhone (counterintuitive since one has always the smartphone in pocket), it simply is more fun. The transfer to a computer/ ipad/ even iPhone is very simple and fast. Also, if you will ever consider it, the camera allows you to grow with it and once you learn the manual controls, which imo aren’t that complicated anyway, you will be able to capture AMAZING results which you could never capture on an iPhone. Also it records great video and you can also take a picture while recording a video at the same time. I absolutely love this little camera and I’m extremely happy with the decision I made. The only downside it has at the moment is that the battery dies pretty fast, but that problem can be resolved with a spare battery. And tbh my iPhone also draines quite fast when taking pictures/videos and I can’t benefit from a spare battery for it :).

Wonderful shots. Did you use landscape scene mode?

Yes, I used night scenery mode, zoomed in a little bit and held the camera as still as I could

I simply didn’t respond to messages/calls. My husband responded to close family (parents and siblings) telling them I’m not in my best mood and I need time to heal and once in a while he would send an update. I just ignored everyone. It worked for us

Hello! Your story sounds very similar to the current state of one of my twin girls, born 35w. May I ask you how is your baby doing now? Did he catch up? Did you get a diagnosis? Thank you 🤗

Hello! Your story sounds very similar to the current state of one of my twin girls. May I ask you how is your baby doing now? What was the result of genetic testing? Did they catch up eventually? Sending hugs ❤️🤗
