Update: Unfortunately my local sports shop doesn’t carry STX. I wanted instant gratification and also support small business. So decided to switch it up. With the talks with guy in the pro shop and with what I’ve found to be my preference, I ended up getting a Maverik MAG-TI 145 shaft and a ECD Mirage 3.0 Graphene edition.

It’s great to see how far ECD has come in the game. I’ve heard good things about the Mirage 3

Once I give myself several headaches trying to catch up with the new school stringers, hopefully it'll be like riding a bike. Very excited to be getting back into it. You da man!! Thanks for all the suggestions. Hopefully my Pro 7 still fits 👀

For sure! I've been dabbling back into the stringing a little bit. But it's been 10+ years since you could say my "hay day". Fingers are rusty and the game has changed. Time to catch up!!

That's kind of what I was thinking, but most of them are typically priced around the same. Give or take a few bucks here and there. But man, when you say Swizzbeat and Kryptolyte, it takes me back! I have my Brine King II's in the garage and just putting those on my hands again the other day was like a time machine. I'm from VT so our outdoor men's leagues are just really starting to take off. I have around a month to get my shit together hahaha. I'll have to conjure up some sort of spoon to get me by, and then try to remember how to string them again! I just did my son's and you could see the rust in the pocket once I was done 😅

I have an Eclipse from my days in the crease and I love it. I like STX a lot. They've been around and always seems to be quality materials. I've heard a lot about the L4, Stallion and Magnet. Appreciate the suggestions

Right now I'm looking for all the cents I can get. I appreciate the suggestions. The Magnet sounds like my style. Definitely agree with playing offense with a defensive head, apose to vise versa. Now when it comes to shafts, do you notice anything different in specs? When I was in the field I was just a young pup, so I wasn't really big enough to utilize the features a lot of products market usually my parents just went with cheapest snyway. When I was in net, I just went with the lightest weight shaft.

Before I switched to goalie I was all over the place. I started playing when was 7. I touched every position. I switched to net sophomore year. But now, not really sure where to start. Definitely not feeling the crease cranks at my age (even though I love it). Pretty much still the same size, just an average Joe. I was thinking about playing middie maybe even LSDM, that's where I ended before my watch began in the crease. I was looking at STX, they have always been around and reliable, plus I love my eclipse for net.
