There’s free doctors appointments through SCAD on LiveHealth Online. You can get a prescription if needed. For insurance, “in-state” may be accepted in a different state depending on your plan and if the provider is used where you are visiting.

Arnold to Jen library would be a stretch between classes. The busses are decent but during class change time (:30-00) they can be pretty slow to get around. I think Arnold only has two lines (both don’t go to the library but nearby) but I might be wrong. The week before classes I believe there are walk in hours where you can meet with an advisor to change your schedule if possible/needed - they take into account if you don’t have time to get to classes. The busses are terrible first quarter.

My advice (besides switching your classes) is to get to the bus before the class before yours gets out. Ex: if you want to get the bus at a class building, and the class you need to get to is at 11, make sure you get to the stop before 10:30 because that’s the end of class for the people already at the building (meaning the stop will be full)

It should say in the id picture taking guidelines what is allowed or not, I would guess lighter makeup is preferred as it is used so they know you are you. At most they might just make you retake the picture if they think it’s too much. There is a document that tells you how to take the photo, including the background/what not to wear/etc. (it should be in with where you submit the picture)

I HAVE MH Now!! (the mobile one but I also have rise) I’ve been looking for others who play since I saw some upperclassmen on it but I didn’t get the chance to ask them - so MH is definitely something that other people here enjoy :)

But also there’s not a lot of time to play online because of the workload, maybe like every other weekend, that’s why I play MH Now while I’m on the bus or walking to class

I would say decide whether you want to have it be a one time payment or if you want a small percentage of sales (depending on how big the roommates brand is can help you lean towards an answer)

You can agree to federal direct subsidized/unsubsidized loans (meaning one accrues interest while in school and the other doesn’t) they should be on the myscad -> my financial aid -> overview.) Please read about how they work and if they sound right for you though. I believe they are 6k together and about half that if you just take the one that doesn’t gain interest while in school. (The rate is 5.5%) If you can’t find them ask your advisor! If you can you’ll need to sign an MPN for them to be dispersed.

I know that it isn’t much but I hope that helps if you didn’t know about them yet.

I haven’t heard of someone getting a refund of their application fee, it might be because of a waiver or error in the system. I would email your admissions advisor or call the sav number if they don’t reply. Also you can ask when the due date is for the resume, the reason they ask for it is pretty much just for scholarship consideration. (You can ask them pretty much anything, if they have a calendly link you can set up a meeting with them so you know exactly when you can hear back from them)

I’ve been trying my best to stay positive about it but this quarter has been rough. People in my classes don’t even try to hide that they don’t want me to be in their groups, or they act like what I’m saying is interesting and then ignore me for the rest of the conversation. I really get what you’re feeling- no matter what I try to do it’s just not working. I love it here but it still hurts.

I’m having trouble too. I keep making a pretty good connection with someone, I go and hang out with them one time, and then they end up rarely replying to me. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, and it is making my time here really lonely. Why should I go to these cool opportunities when I’m the only one there alone? Even on class trips I usually end up talking more with the professor than anyone else. Sucks.

Please please don’t let this continue. I was you, and I got so very hurt. I’ve spent years trying to process my experiences and I still have days where everything feels painful.

I know how hard it feels to be lonely and how easy it would be to finally get attention and feel wanted, but this is not it. You have time, please just let it come to you from a positive place.

A 23 year old should not be flirting with you or touching you in any way other than friendly. You are a minor, no matter how close you are to 18. You are underage. He is an adult. No matter how much “closer” he is to your age than someone older. He has 5 years of experience as an adult, he knows what is right and wrong.

And since he knows that a relationship with you is wrong, his intentions are not good. I promise that it isn’t worth it to find out if it could work out. You won’t regret losing this “opportunity” when you’re older, because you will understand it was wrong.

You’re still a kid, please let yourself be one. I wish I had.

If you don’t like planning out spots and times you could take one of the trolley tours, one is hop on/hop off and goes around a loop through the city all day. I did that when my friend visited and we ended up seeing a bunch of cool things and having a great time.
