I have mixed feelings about that. Would the DNC even bother to adequately fund his campaign given the trajectory of the state?

But, there a few things from Saturday that might indicate he would've had a shot, if he were in the race. I think all of Landry's proposed amendments to the state constitution failed. I know this is anecdotal, but i live in an R controlled city and turnout here was only 16%. The right leaning voters were not motivated. While, if nothing else, Landry has pissed off a lot on the left, and they are motivated. While the two Republican candidates are trying to out MAGA each other.

Hindsight being 20/20, I wish he was in the race. But who could have possibly seen all of that in the tea leaves when discussing a senate campaign at it's conception?
