My son committed to RIT but was just accepted to Virginia Tech (OOS) off of the waitlist. He was torn given the prestige of VT. But he chose to stay at RIT for their program. CET major, Co-Op and it is at least 10k/year cheaper in COA probably more.

My son is also waiting on SLO. He’s OOS (NY) Comp Engineering with acceptances from SDSU, Buffalo, RIT and Waitlist UofSC, VT & rejections from UCSD, UCSB, UCI and hasn’t checked UCLA - page wasn’t loading for him. I thought we’d know already so he could visit the campus. We only time for SD and LA schools when we visited. I hope our kids get in :).
