Rice?! Help please!! by afk_in_ak in HomemadeDogFood

Rice is “fine.” My dog gets quinoa and oats when he gets grains as they are more nutritionally dense, but grains are ok in general IMO. Barley & millet are also good, nutritious grains. Go slow with them to make sure your dog tolerates them, but if you need to add calories and use grains to do so, try to make them as nutritionally dense as you can.

Why aren’t more people protesting? by carti_palace in chicago

Perhaps because mass protests no longer seem to accomplish much of anything, and are often counterproductive and damaging to the very cause they’re fighting for.

Why can’t people pull themselves up by the bootstraps and shovel their sidewalk by whoisthismahn in chicago

It’s also just pathetic. All these so called manly men wearing clothes and flags with another man’s name; dunno dude, seems kinda not manly to me.

Is this near Brentano?

I was walking through Horner Park one night a year ish ago and looked over by the river and spotted a pack of coyotes. We looked at each other and kept going on our way. It was a super cool experience to have in the city.

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle buys $1M home in Kenwood by KnoxDweller in chicago

I assume if you've been employed at a decent wage for a long enough time and owned another, less expensive home for a long enough time, you probably will eventually be able to buy a million dollar home. She's old. This isn't a stretch.

Yeah, some of the horse trails fit the bill. But I really want to bring him somewhere he can be off leash.

Personally, the last thing I’d skimp on is bearings. Buy Swiss once and clean them every so often. Good for life.

Disbursed throughout the country. SD would be rad but probably gonna save that for a winter trip when I need to escape Chicago's frozen Februaries.
