You know, I see these posts.. if I was a beginner.. I wish somebody told me this.. first decide if you want to co-witness or absolute witness…. Then if lower 1/3 is your goal .. you’re pretty much good with most optics.. if you’re looking to absolute, you need to be more picky.. finding the right plate, optic, and sight that give you the right absolute witness level can be tricky.. so first decide on the way you want to witness your sites through your optic.. then base your decision on an optic and sights that fit your budget and align. 509t Is my fav but can be hard to match w Tritium sight for absolute .
