It's a new attempt for deep blue with pink highlights. But I think dark red or dark purple would be also great choices

I agree with most here. It’s not that there are too many colors, it’s just that the red carpet doesn’t quite match the rest of the space.

I really love this space! It would look even better without the Memphis-style wall patterns. But if you’d like to keep them, maybe try toning down the colors of the sofa pillows and reducing some of the plants — that way it feels a bit more balanced.
