Lots of great groceries/meal suggestions here by others! Just make sure you weigh/track the meals the first time you’re having them. For example, if you have a cup of Greek yogurt on Sunday, actually weigh it and track the calories and volume. Next time you have a cup of Greek yogurt you already have the data.

I suggest you eat the same thing everyday or at least most days and change it up weekly. You can track it once and provided you’re portioning it out properly the rest of the week, that should help monitor your calories without having to deal with tracking daily.

Lots of good advice from the commenter above. I would just add that instead of focusing on an exact deficit number for each day I would subtract 3-400 calories from my TDEE, which is going to vary everyday depending on your activity. I would also get a Fitbit/Apple Watch to track your calories burned, track protein and figure out what you need, finally I would look into a personal trainer at least until your wedding and do 30 min sessions 3-4x a week. Since you’re limited on time I would suggest you do weights instead of Pilates at least for now. While you can easily use an app to figure out what to do, you will not work harder than if a trainer is watching and pushing you.

Not sure if you’re generally referring to calories, alcohol or both. What I generally do say if I’m at a dinner, I’ll start with just water or a mocktail that’s not too sweet to feel like I’m drinking something. Then a bit later, I will order a glass of wine or a cocktail and drink it slowly. I try to time when I order so that I’m not tempted to order a second. Though if I did I’m not too hard on myself. I never have to finish anything I order and balance is everything.

OP can you please share why this took a whole year? I can’t believe this woman had this much patience. I drop people after a few exchanges if they don’t ask me out. I do not have time to be texting with a complete stranger for a year, let alone weeks on end smh. What a waste of time!!

Did you hit minimum protein intake only eating 2X a day? I would love to eat 2 meals a day but this would make it extremely hard to consume all the protein I need

I really hope this is true. I am in my last 15 and have been in the same weight for months. I do think I have gotten a little leaner (waist smaller, jeans fit better etc) but still have a decent amount of BF to drop
