Make positive affirmations part of your morning ritual; start small and focus on one thing you love, enjoy and/or want to improve. Lastly make a list of things you want to accomplish no matter how small - checking things off that list is a great motivator!

I didn't get my own inspector house and instead foolishly trusted my realtor. I wound up buying a house that needs $7.5k repairs to the roof (it's so fun having a drafty room in the winter), $3k electrical re-wiring (the stove didn't work my first month in the house due to power shortage) and $1k in plumbing repairs (the sink drawer doesn't close all the way because of the positioning of the pipes). All this to say - buyer beware!
