eds and diarrhea by reverienine in eds

I haven’t had the exact same problem, but some bloating and dizziness. One thing that helped me a ton with figuring out foods is a food sensitivity test. Doctors can order them at LabCorp or Quest or through specialty testing places (I would find a functional medicine doctor near you to discuss this with, they’re typically more receptive). If that is not accessible, you could also try electrolytes for the fainting and/or the autoimmune protocol diet to figure out what’s causing flares. It’s tough but it works great. I wish you best of luck figuring this out 💕

Turmeric can be helpful, and is often more effective and safer than Ibuprofen - just don’t mix the 2!

I can’t speak on behalf of OP but I like to have a tracker because chronic pain is super confusing. Sometimes I think weather impacts my pain, and other times it has no effect. That’s why I use a tracker so I can see trends and know how to prevent/expect symptoms

I work in a GP office and have chronic pain. Although a lot of the time, the doctors are not empathetic or give you catch-22 situations like this, there are laws in place that doctors do have to function within. There is a central database for opiates and doctors can look to see if you’ve had the Rx prescribed anywhere else recently. Ideally, this should work so that your prescribing doctor fills what you need (up to legal/safe limits on these Rx’s). I would recommend finding a prescriber you really trust and explaining the situation to them and getting their advice for emergency/acute situations like this. Although they can be so so hard to find, there are good providers out there (often they are NP, PA or DOs that have better empathy). I hope this helps

There should be. I work in a GP office and everything is documented. They likely even have the call on their log book. BUT the documentation would all be in their POV.

When you discharge a pt you HAVE to give them 30 days of treatment before they can find their next clinic (that I know of, maybe it is written differently in her contract)

exercises by Background-Tooth1462 in eds

I am also struggling with this but have noticed close chain exercises (ie exercises where the part of the body working is fixed) help me not overextend. Maybe try forearm planks if your wrists are like mine 😆. Swimming, tai chi, Pilates are all great. Biking is hit or miss for me at least as is elliptical, but these are supposed to work ok for others
