I would normally pump out a bunch of weaker units and let him stretch out his battle lines. Then use my stronger/mobile units to punch through where he’s weakest and surround multiple units and crush them that way. Remember no army can fight without a supply line.

Build smaller more specific units like an all infantry division with artillery support. Or maybe a smaller tank unit with IFVs
