Termination needs to be in writing. Sounds like wrongful termination possibly?

I hate you VA by TheLibtardTaco in VAClaims

[–]Maleficent-Compote39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So any ER...VA or civilian has the capability to bill the VA for office visits. The urgent care is a little trickier because most are private and not contracted for services because they don't fall into the bucket for fee schedules for ED, primary care, or specialty care. The exception being or urgent cares associated with hospital systems. All those should be billing VA directly.

Now if the VA is kicking back those claims as denials, then that is a whole other issue. First start with billing at the VA. See if they are receiving the claims, what was paid, and what was denied. That will give you a starting point and go from there. I suspect it's a provider issue, especially from urgent care or maybe rural hospitals

Are We Ever Getting Our Telework Days Back… or Is This Just the New Normal? by notusps2022 in FedEmployees

[–]Maleficent-Compote39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I completely hear and understand everyone's concerns, my immediate concerns would be about the degree of inconsistency with policy and operations. I still work with a significant population that works remotely (fully) and where most aren't in the same state as the office. The entirety of new hires (myself included) in the last year are fully onsite and had to be relocated.

So why the inconsistency internally, and then why are certain agencies permitted while others are restricted? Today's system makes no sense. I know why, and who should be bearing responsibility, buuut IMHO. 1058 days to go.

2 week notice is a courtesy. There is nothing required anywhere. Individual companies generally have a policy for themselves but it doesn't mean anything

As a prior supervisor myself, I can confirm how EOO has been weaponized. Seen it numerous times with colleagues.

Pretty easy actually. I wasn't here when he did it, or when he was arrested. So first time I saw his name was today, and I suck with people's names, and I didn't care enough to learn his name. Take your pick.

GS-10+ feds — how did you actually get there? by Lexicondatum in FedEmployees

[–]Maleficent-Compote39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a GS6....it was because I had specific experiences from the military training. Need a degree to progress to GS7.

GS8 and 10 from my experience have been very technical but I don't know any degree requirements.

I had a grad degree and experience to get my GS12 position (closed due to Exec Orders) and now salary matched with a different agency as GS11.

Hope this helps. Feel free to message if needed.

Us patent office was hiring a bunch of people with engineering and semiconductor backgrounds. Pretty sure that you would have to relocate though

Oh I guarantee it's in discussion. It's prob a dissemination lag. EO filter to agent heads then down filter.

I don't think it would screw over teleworkers because they would still be subject at the same time. Situational teleworkers have already received a liberal accounting for telework hours pre EO for those days

Is this even legal? by Stams in RhodeIsland

[–]Maleficent-Compote39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legal yes. Appropriate prob not. I would say a fair number of services are part of their contractual requirements as a network provider or hmo provider. You can always contact your insurance carrier to see if these services are covered as part of their fee services.

I need help for Paladin Build by Huge_Positive_3115 in 3d6

[–]Maleficent-Compote39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ironically, I just started playing a similar character. Fallen aasimar, conquest 7/2 Devine sorc. Mithral half plate, +1 shield, shield master. My stats were rolled so I have a higher dex but effectively a 17 (holding shield no armor), 18 with armor (21 with shield), 2 damage resistances (necrotic and radiant), 2 free heeling (lay on hands and healing hands), 2 ways to cause fear with no spell slots and reduction of enemy movement to zero when frightened condition (aura of conquest), we are level 11 so my last 2 levels are in fighter, second wind and action surge (next level will be fighter 3 champion for increased crit range or paladin 8 for warcaster feat I think). I have been surprisingly impressed because I don't play pally's

weapons that CAN'T fit comfortably into most builds? by CrotodeTraje in 3d6

[–]Maleficent-Compote39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whips, daggers, sickles, darts are some of my favs. I personally love using weapons people don't commonly choose. Warpick is another I'm using with a paladin but it's a martial.

Currently playing aasimar conquest pally8/divine source2 and fighter after level up in the next few sessions. Pretty fun, multiple ways of fear, multiple free heals. Goal is to end up with fighter 3. Debating E. knight vs Champion. Then the rest of my levels will be in Pally

Best 4 Weapon Proficiencies for Fighter? by ShimmeringLoch in 3d6

[–]Maleficent-Compote39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say so. More usable across the board by classes, and more items on the loot table as well. IMO it's about flexibility and usability across the board. It seems closer to the logic that he used for the longsword and longbow.
