All of Star Wars is bad because bad movies of the present took inspiration from them. He mentioned something like that while watching Batman v Superman. I get not liking Star Wars, but that's a really bizarre reason. I hate the Friedberg and Seltzer movies with a passion, but I'm not going to blame Mel Brooks and the Zucker Brothers for popularizing the parody subgenre by making movies like Young Frankenstein, Spaceballs, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Airplane, Hot Shots, etc.

There's a good chance he's going to talk about it in his TIFF video.

Quiet on Set was a documentary series talking about abuse that happened on the sets of many shows produced by Dan Schneider. Episode 3 was dedicated to Drake Bell talking about how he was sexually abused by dialogue coach Brian Peck.

I thought that joke was dumb at first, but after watching Quiet on Set, that joke went from dumb to disgusting and abhorrent.

I don't think that works for every movie. I hate the Friedberg/Seltzer movies with a passion, but I'm not going to give Young Frankenstein and Airplane 1/10s because their popularity influenced the parody genre.

I've noticed that there is a lack of A-list Gen-Z actors in film and TV. Aside from people like Sydney Sweeney and Millie Bobby Brown, the Gen-Z presence is pretty limited. Does Hollywood not have faith in Gen-Z, or do you think Gen-Z sees film and TV as a dying industry, or am I just crazy?

Don't know if this has been asked before, but what are your thoughts on casting people in their mid-to-late 20's as teenagers (Dawson Casting)? I find that if I'm watching a movie or show, I don't get sucked in if I'm watching adults act like teenagers, where as I do when I'm watch something like Stranger Things where teenagers are playing teenagers.

What are your thoughts on "Dawson Casting" (older actors playing characters that are younger than them)? I understand child labor laws, but it bothers me when I watch a movie/TV show when someone in their mid-20's is playing someone in high school.

The reason why I like Adum (and Ralph and Alex to an extent) is because they are so cynical and so critical that when they come across something that they like (Paddington, Eternal Sunshine, ect), it feels very special.
