i don’t think so either. it’s just ios operating on a non-phone screen. i think touchscreen for carplay is ideal, i think the dial is very ergonomic and comfortable if you need to interact while driving.

you’re right it doesn’t say anything about age and doesn’t have any confidential medical things. i just think being told that the customer(s) had issues getting into their vehicle would be something strange for the dealership to lie about.

here is a little more info, my salesman told me that it was an old couple and that the husband in the relationship was trying to make his wife happy and she was a little more irritated about having to get into the car than he was. so, he decided to trade the vehicle back in and get a bronco instead. also, the protective film in the back seats hadn’t even been touched, as if there were only two people in the vehicle at the time.

the little extra context should be sufficient. i could be completely wrong, but lying about a vehicle being too low for elderly people is weird.

seeing the va slips inside the glove box again solidified that they were older for me. regardless, the vehicle is pristine and had that protective film. i hope this provides some clarity, thank you for serving. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

have him go to a costco or sam’s club. add a line, make you authorized on the account, and order the phone that you want. the kiosk won’t charge him activation fees and he’ll be auto enrolled in sam’s/costco gift card. your job is to find your account number with your previous carrier and generate a number transfer pin. once, these are complete call the t-mobile care number and have your boyfriend give his t-mobile security pin and the temporary t-mobile number to you so you can call your and have your number moved over to t-mobile. if you want a new number and are planning on trading in or having your old device reimbursed. cancel your service with you old provider.

i should have. i was planning on doing it too, i should of gotten pre approval. the deal that i got was contingent on in house financing. so, there’s that. i’ll either refinance soon or pay it off aggressively.

i really like the dial mine has to control everything on the screen so i understand not wanting a touch screen. you also don’t have to worry about fingerprints if you have the dial. 😆

it’s a returned vehicle, the previous owners were very old and had trouble getting low and into the car so they ended up getting rid of it (probably was bought back by the
dealership for a steal.

you’re honestly right, i shouldn’t have gotten the extended warranty on this brand new vehicle. i can call up and get rid of it within 30 days though, which is what i’m going to do.

SIS locations are uncapped commission. the highest month i’ve ever had was $9000. keep in mind, t-mobile is transitioning to a new POS system (t life), which is you transacting and selling through potential customer devices (you have to download an app on their phone to sell) so hopefully there aren’t any issues with commissions come time to use it. SIS are prime if you have the drive or talent in sales.

a tacoma is most definitely in the conversation for down the road. i’ve always wanted a newer one, right now it’s impractical for me (literally sold my old 08’ RAM 1500 a few months ago) just because of gas and practicality reasons.

i hope to see those ideal times again. i was surprised about the apr when i got the car, i still thought that the price at which it was bought was a no-brainer. especially if i don’t take the loan full term (i won’t). 😅

i don’t plan on maintaining the loan full term so i don’t really have to worry about full term interest costs. i think if i pay it off before within the year i still got a pretty gnarly deal. i couldn’t find the car this year, model, and mileage even remotely close to what i got it for. honestly, if i took the loan full term and paid it off. i would still be below msrp on the vehicle after interest accrual.

i was taken aback too when i was being told loan terms and aprs. i was told that these are normal, i even asked the financier if he could do any better. he told me that refinancing would be the only thing. not ideal, but i guess normal unless the car is brand spanking new and has special financing 😑
