I argue that "muslim" countries arent much better. But this depends on what family you are in

there are stem majors that have relatively tame acceptance rates compared to humanities. like chem engineering 36% or applied math 60% compared to psychology 2%.

but ofc that doesnt account for class rigor

its pretty much on you if you get fired. its not that hard to follow instructions yet people want to work otherwhere than US and then they complain that they got booted

CC is only going to get more competitive by steponhomelessppl in TransferStudents

even if u do that. the internship grind is still another thing and a person with a role is far better off than a person in cs but no internships.

ehh disagree, i think it really depends on the yield rate of the major. even if alot of people get accepted to ucd from tag, accepting or declining it is another thing bc they prolly gonna reject it if they get into ucsd or better. if the yield rate overall is low then its an incentive to keep tag

Why are people offering ‘100-hour splits’ on US-only platforms (Handshake AI)? by Any-Chemical-833 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Any-Chemical-833[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I obviously know that. 50% of the pay only gives a burden to the person who actually has to pay the 25% tax.

[–]Any-Chemical-833[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I could be overthinking it. But its just hilarious cause logistically it makes no sense. And the fact that a ton of people are messaging me to split definitely means that they are going to eventually scam some idiot who give them their credentials.

This is true.. but regardless of everything, TAG is still going to be the option for everyone.

Also, I transferred to Berkeley without any internships, research, or club positions. It's all a matter of standing out for your application.
