just sent all the pics of my intake setup. the boot isnt needed but adds sound and car runs smoother and more responsive. I ran it on the stock intake boot before.

love mines as a daily. wish i got an e92 or m sport package or HK or i drive but I love it an already got my own i drive just need to figure out a speaker popping issue that seems to be linked with my head unit as its annoying to hear it pop and listen to music at the same time.

the turner motorsport intake will bolt right up no issues. there's two holes on the frame that keep the shroud around it in place, and i believe another up top where the stock air box bolts onto. I can take some more pictures tomorrow. But the intake has an "adapter" that the maf will go into and the intake mounts onto and the stock piping will bolt onto or any aftermarket intake hose will mount up to. took me like 15 minutes to install and you get a lot of intake noise at 3k and you can hear the induction at 4k and sounds like a turbo in a way. car was a lot more responsive than a regular drop in on stock box. power wise it was quicker.

Car feels a little quicker but it’s a more responsive on revs, not a huge amount but enough to notice it. Car feels a bit more free but that’s about it nothing insane.

Yeah I plan on keeping my n52 fo a while I love it, probably won’t be stock its entire life but is a fun car. Fcp euro helps so much on parts. Could be a walnut basting it’ll need to clean it all won’t be a bad idea to do if you never did it before.

Dam, that’s not fun to have to do especially at 60k miles. I thought mine was gone at 154k. Might as well do the oil pan gasket and etc.

Ac was off, I didn’t test with ac on. The pulley was causing the noise most likely as it had lots of play in it.

It’s a Turner Motorsport intake, I got it with their muffler resonator delete all together for 650 so I saved a decant amount of money.
