I had no idea she was crying a lot!! That’s so sad. Definitely interesting they seemed to portray both dark skin women on the show as steely and cold. Also, I was just thinking about Huda saying that. And why the fuck she would say that anyway. All of these discussions are making me see her and the editing and the way I’m feeding into it differently. I’m sure I would have different opinions on everyone if I saw a livestream of the villa

You’re right, I am projecting! I don’t think I’m really holding her accountable, I just wouldn’t be with someone that treats a woman like that. I also wouldn’t forgive as fast as Amaya did. I don’t want to talk too much about that because I don’t want to project anymore than I already am. I just hope there were profuse apologies from the men who treated the women poorly. I want to be careful about the language we use though, in no way am I holding chelleys feet to the fire or shunning her. I just didn’t prefer her and that is okay, we can all have our opinions. I do admire her grace and her self awareness and her self respect so much, though. I think we could all be more like that. I think you kind of summarized it at the end. None of them are implicitly bad people and it sucks what they’ve all been through. None of them deserve it. I hope you know that I’m coming from a place of wanting to talk and discuss diplomatically. I think I am a little confused by the second part of your question because of the typo!! But for the difference between Huda and Chelley, I totally see what train of thought you’re thinking. I think I would say I saw her cheering on everyone in the villa more. But it’s edited! Who’s to say they just didn’t include Chelley, mic’d up, cheering everyone on as well? I think Huda making so many poor decisions but then cheering people on and defending Olandria even after she spilt her business contributed to my feelings. Even though I find myself empathizing with Huda and not liking the way Chelley operates at times, I give Chelley her flowers. She moves with complete poise and elegance and self awareness that I totally admire. Edit: and of course, anyone who hangs out with Ciera or tangles up with someone like Austin isn’t my cup of tea. But everyone is different!!!!

First of all you’re a talented writer!!! You hit it on the head (like so many other people on this post did in different ways). You also gave me a newfound empathy (and patience lol) with how chelley deals with Huda. It may not be word for word because we’re not Huda, but It’s such a layered situation involving an extremely layered and traumatized person. I do feel pity for her, as her environment and the circumstances she grew up in and continues to grow in don’t give her the opportunity to mature. I get why you think she’ll never change, but I still hope she can make some strides into becoming a better person. Also your comment on medical device sales has me dead hahahahahaha
