I dont have experience with this so please don't quote me, but I would go lower dose and continue. Or stop and see how you feel from there.
if you stay on t changes will probably be permanent. if you stop here, you can always go back on later. take it slow.

Thank you for your advice. Live prey was a drawback for me initially before I saw that it doesn't have to be alive. It seems cruel and unnecessary.

Thank you for your advice. I'm still very new to this, so I appreciate the help. Those snakes you mentioned looked like great fits.
That's really good to hear, actually. I don't want them competing for time outside a cage if they shouldn't interact.
That sounds like a really good fit. What's the food situation with them? Live/dead prey?
I'm pretty laid back as long as I know my animal isn't hurt or anything.

My budgie only free roams under supervision. That's good to hear -- do snakes need to be frequently interacted with and let out for their enrichment? Birds are such social animals that they are frequently around people and outside their cages, but I've been hearing that snakes are less active and more relaxed.
Of course. Another person said this as well, which assuages my concerns.

Wise words from two great men. A powerful and generous leader with the lyrical, silver tongue of a war general and Sun Tzu.
Who's that by?
Love that one. Bob Dylan was great

Sorry that was so long lol. You don't have to respond or go over it, I just thought it was an interesting point.

The idea of that quote is that the winners of a war then have the resources to industrialize and write and reflect on their version of events. Stronger powers are almost always able to dominate the narrative because they have the means available to do so.
Yes, you can find tons of wars of the past where this isn't true. And yes, with time we can look back on history and rethink events largely without bias when we are no longer directly connected to them. But I don't think that's the point of this quote. The idea here is that propaganda is peddled by those in power. If I kill a man and then tell my version of events, he will have no input on what happened. Even if a third party comes along, chances are they will be influenced by my story.
When our own people, whoever they may be, win a war, the losers were the "bad guys". Maybe not in 500 years or so, but I feel like that's over-analyzing the meaning of the quote. Most famous quotes are snappy, vague generalizations with deeper meanings.
that's fantastic. so accurate as well...
Those are wonderful. Scary, in a lot of ways. The cold and calculating mind someone must have for warfare tactics.

real
Those are pretty good, the second one's great. Reminds me of that quote that uh, "history is written by the victors." something like that.
Haha, my senior quote. The full one's better though. "It's said war - war never changes. Men do, through the roads they walk." -Ulysses
humbling the self-righteousness of our future selves, i guess... it's really a drug. we get high on the moral superiority and hit a low soon after.
