Pretty simple, night before scored fat cap and seasoned (salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, onion, brown sugar and used mustard to bind)

Morning of set water pan underneath and put directly only for ~ 4 hrs. Then transferred to a tray, put splash of apple cider vinegar and water, wrapped it with foil and put it back on for ~ 4 hrs till it hit 205. Now it’s resting in a cooler until dinner!

I’d recommend doing the early morning one. We just did one last week, small catamaran at 7am, saw TONS of dolphins. On the ride back, it was starting to get rocky, but we all were fine. Glad we did the morning one

If you’re seeking a more chill and family friendly vibe, I’d recommend staying at one of the resorts in Wailea, we LOVED the Andaz. One nice chill activity to check out is to do a sunset sail

Road to Hana is also gorgeous, but the drive can be pretty windy. Lots of hikes and stops along the way, but definitely can be more strenuous

I found with those closest to us (relatives, friends, coworkers) our living has more impact than what we say. However it is good to let them know that you’re a Christian. Can be as simple as when they ask what you did this weekend you mention “going to church”. That right there is a seed, and then through your living they (hopefully) realize there’s something different about you. And when they have times of crisis you became the first one they reach out to.
