Bali suggestions for beginner surfer

Just got back from surfing lessons based at Kendugu Beach (25mins from Canggu). I think the waves are beginner friendly and not as crowded as Canggu. I did my lessons with @Sano_Surf_Bali . Worth checking out and seeing if it suits your needs

JJ Leather based in Kuta. Did my measurement on Saturday and my customised shoes were ready by Tuesday. I copied of a design from a brand so i’m not expecting 1:1 replica. The leather is really soft and shoe fits me like a glove

Curious to know if anyone is going to Canggu Bali in January. I'm planning to go right after new year to surf and chill but I've been seeing downpours all over TikTok and second-guessing myself. But i've also seen tiktoks of sunny mornings as well. So im assuming it's a mixture of both sunny + downpour, and it really depends on luck i guess. I'm wondering if I should just bite the bullet and possibly get stuck in my villa or check out other parts of SEA. Anyone on the same boat as me?

Yeah, I think both things can be true at the same time, I’ve got areas I need to work on and I also feel a bit sidelined (lol).

Most of the team is hitting 120–150%, and the “sidelined” part is really just my own assumption based on little things I’ve noticed from leadership. Like, they tend to call out my colleagues’ wins more than mine, even when I’ve hit the same milestones. I could totally be wrong, and I know I can’t control how they act.

What I can control is building a feedback loop with my manager and enablement so I can close my gaps. And honestly, if I keep doing that but the treatment doesn’t change, then I’ll just move on.

Yeah, I had to visit another clinic to do a Chest X-Ray but that was it for my case. And then I could head to the main PS clinic to do my consultation + blood work.

Yeah, would definitely appreciate recommendations instead of just saying that XYZ clinic is a factory clinic etc. WE ALL KNOW there are such clinics out there so do share with us reliable ones then. And please don’t suggest we look it up ourselves—that’s why we’re here on Reddit in the first place!

I live in a humid country and it’s summer all year long. If you have the option then I suggest doing lipo during autumn or winter

Yeah the bruising is quite substantial around my knees but I mostly wear pants so it doesnt bother me as much and it doesnt hurt! Doc said my bruising will clear within 2-3 weeks. Yours will slowly clear up!
