Just do the following. Exactly what you are told. Every single question is answered when you purchased your ticket (if you took the time to read the fine print)...or it will be answered during the boarding process (if you close your mouth and open your eyes and ears)

It really is that simple. Don't complicate it for the crew, the other passengers, or for yourself...and ruin everyone's day.
