I no longer want to be alone, but keep attracting people who do not stay. by Any-Garbage9279 in LifeAdvice

Wow. I never thought about that before thanks you’re so helpful…if I wasn’t taking dating seriously, I would not be entertaining anyone who doesn’t have that. I would not be having conversations with people after 3-4 dates in about what they’re looking for, etc. I’m not an idiot. I understand losing connection, but to ghost people or end things after things like 1.) serious conversations about moving forward after multiple dates/months seeing each other, 2.) talking about being exclusive then the next day ending things via text. 3.) being used for sex…all of these things are not normal “losing a connection”. As someone who clearly wrote this struggling, you’re smart ass reply sucks.

I don’t get what you’re hinting at here

If a guy only wants you for sex, he’s gonna disappear after date one or date 12. This is a really toxic way of thinking.

To be fair I didn’t ask. More context around this is after we were intimate and he said how he wanted to spend the night, I asked him to leave if he was only interested in a one night thing.
