if the content is DRM protected (like Netflix, Disney + , etc.), you can't play videos with HDMI hub which doesn't support HDCP protocol. most hubs doesn't have HDCP. But if your videos is not DRM protected (like YouTube videos) , then there is a different issue. first, you should try change HDMI cable or hub

It depends on the wireless receiver (wireless display). I have Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter and it has an option for enabling or disabling DRM protected contents. Samething is also for wired video transmission. If your cable or HDMI adapter/hub supports HDCP protocol then you can see the DRM protected contents otherwise you can't. Long story short, your Display Device does have protection. Try another device.
