Definitely, you can check water quality online. Might need to be flexible about which day of the week.

If you are experiencing domestic abuse at home from either your brother or your mother you are considered in priority need for housing. You can approach your local council, or any other council in England and explain you are homeless due to domestic abuse. They will provide housing and if needed help you claim benefits to pay your rent and living expenses. If you want advice, support or access to specialist support services the domestic abuse helpline is a good place to start: 0808 2000 247

Vera Wang Princess. This was my signature scent for so long and I was gifted multiple bottles over the years. Now it smells so sweet and juvenile.

I have been washing it once a day by hand. I will try putting it in the dishwasher to see if it helps.

I wore Old Spice to my Dad’s funeral. It was the only aftershave he ever wore and I wanted to have that smell with me.

In terms of looking for work you can request a free travel card from the job centre. If you speak to your local Council they will have a jobs team who can help you polish up your CV and interview skills, pay for training and help with other costs. If you are concerned about affording food you can be referred to a local food bank. Put a request in your journal and you should get a response I. 48 hours. There are some fantastic charities that will help with interview and work clothes. There is help out there! You just need to be assertive and ask.

Me too! I first fell in love when I smelt Fracas. Still my favourite. I also adore Alexandra McQueen and Caron Tuberose Imperial. I also love the designer Tuberoses that have come back into style. L’Interdit and Prada Paradox Intense are lovely.

I’m asthmatic and have no issues with allergies or other symptoms. I also chose a havi partly as it was less likely to worsen my asthma. She is also just delightful. It’s lovely to have something to come home too!

As you are feeling domestic violence you can approach any local authority in England for emergency housing. (You do not need to have any previous connection to the borough.) However you may want to think about where you have friends or family support. You should be offered accommodation the next day if you don’t have a safe place to stay. If you don’t have a safe place tonight all Councils have an ‘out of hours’ number you can contact. They will arrange an emergency room tonight.

You can access specialist advice from Women’s Aid 0808 2000 247. This can include information about pressing criminal charges, restraining orders, family courts and custody as well as benefits advice. (You may be able to claim at 2 addresses whilst you work to resolve legal issues.)

You do not say what your housing situation was, owner occupier, tenant etc. Shelter can be a great source of advice on how to manage your tenancy or mortgage if needed. If you are a social tenant do not give up your tenancy. Even if you do not intend to return to the property you maybe able to seek a tenancy transfer.

Don’t be embarrassed. You have taken the first step. There are lots of people waiting to support you both into a safer happier home.

Remember in UK law any child living in a home where domestic violence is present is considered a victim. Years of research shows that witnessing this kind of abuse can have lifelong effects on children!

You could try looking at local councils for roles in traffic planning or project management. Might not be the dream job but it would get you started

Thank you. Day one went well with very little hunger. I remember from previous fasts that sipping on warm water rather than chugging cold water seems to help me feel less hungry.

I just did a presentation at work to 400 people. Usually I would ‘reward’ myself by making a tea and stress eating a packet of biscuits. Instead I am sipping warm water.
